Accessing & Navigating your Legacy LMS Archive Instance
After your Archive account is set up, you’ll receive an email with your username, a temporary password, and a link to your Archive instance.
Click the link to go to your instance, where you will enter your username and temporary password. On your first login, you'll be asked to create a new password and verify your information. Once that’s done, you’ll be directed to the Dashboard, which contains a list of all archived courses.
Use the navigation menu to explore different areas within your LMS Archive instance.
Dashboard & Courses: View a list of all your archived courses.
Users & Roles: Create and manage Scaffold user accounts and permissions.
Admin: Allows your institution's admin to manage settings for the LMS Archive instance.
Note
Depending on your permissions in the LMS Archive, you may not have access to all areas within the LMS Archive instance.
If you do not see any courses, this is because your permissions are limited to only archived courses your Scaffold user account is enrolled in.
Accessing Archived Courses
From the Dashboard & Courses view, you'll see a table listing all archived courses. Use the search feature to find a specific course, then click on it to open and navigate through the course.
Course Navigation
The course navigation lets you easily move through the course content and access student data when needed.
Student Data
All students enrolled in the course at the time of the archive will appear in the Archive Users list. Select a student to view their additional details, such as their submissions and grades.
You can also view student submissions through the Gradebook or Grade Columns.
Users with the proper permissions are able to export gradebook and student submissions as needed.
Course Content
Course content can be found under the relevant items in the course navigation menu.
Sync to LMS
Users with the proper permission can sync archived course content to the LMS as needed.
Scaffold Users & Roles
The Users and Roles section allows you to manage Scaffold user accounts and assign roles to each user.
For details on creating and managing Scaffold Users & Roles, visit the Users & Roles collection.
