If a course was soft deleted in Canvas, after being imported into Canvas Archiving, you are able to use the Course Restore feature to restore the course in Canvas.
To restore a course,
Navigate to the course you want to restore
Access the Restore option within the course
Depending on your permissions, this will be found in the drop down next to the Sync to LMS button
or as a stand alone button in the top right hand corner of the course
Click the Restore Course button
A notification window will open and informing you that the course is being restored and will update once the course has been restored.
Note:
Restoring a course to Canvas will restore the original Canvas Course with the course content. Student Enrollments will not be restored.
If a course has been hard deleted from Canvas, you will not be able to restore the course in Canvas. You will only be able to sync the course to Canvas.
